I think the last sentence is the key. Watch the rumors and have fun. That’s what I do, and when they get too wild, I get off the ride for a while.

But the thing I think is most fun is when Apple comes out with something totally unexpected, like the first iMac or the iPod. And it’s a good reminder that, while the rumor mills are fun to watch, sometimes they’re gonna miss the big ones.
