Flash is a runtime that plays code and resources (which are downloaded from the web) like movies on various platforms. Apple could easily do something quite similar by allowing os x apps to load from the web and run in a sandbox on the iphone. The runtime for the apps and the media is already there.

Adobe can be replaced, easily, if they piss off Apple.

FCP already knocked the steam out of Premiere. Aperture and Lightroom compete. GIMP could be bulked up and prettified by Apple to become a Photoshop killer. Preview is a better PDF VIEWER than Adobe's; with a touch of effort, it could be the world's best PDF AUTHORING app.

Adobe loyal? Look at the number of products which haven't been fully updated for Leopard or Intel Mac compatibility. A bit slow even if they are loyal.

I have to say that I like Jonathan Ive to replace Jobs, I don't think anyone else have the taste to take Apple to the next level, there are many good leaders on the board right now but Jonathan represents innovation in market. Just my opinion.

In regards to Wall Street, I'm really confused at how the market works. Even when companies present trouble some financial statements, their shares don't drop in prices so steep. I would say someone is playing with people's money. I don't like it.
