I’d like to clarify that mySQL doesn’t come with Leopard, but is part of Leopard Server. You still have to install it in the client version.

But it’s amazing what tools they do provide. As a graphic designer, I’m finding my skill set needs to expand. I’m getting started with Ruby on Rails, and everything I needed (EXCEPT mySQL—that’s how I know about this ) was there for me.

iMac first with Ethernet? Maybe my memory is going… but I remember Ethernet as a standard on my 7600, 7300 and other beige Macs and clones.

Never said it was first with Ethernet. I said it just had USB and Ethernet.

Nevertheless, I did clarify the sentence for better clarity.

One of the truly revolutionary items that the original iMac had was the use of USB. It may be responsible for the entire move to USB by the industry itself.
