Gene, Thanks for the answer but surely you have used it and without breaking any NDA is gaming a reality with it yes or no? I mean modern day gaming such as Battlefield 2 or Supreme Commander or C&C 3? I know that you may have not tried any of these games but have you any idea on the playability of 3d games that push the graphics card on XP machines and would you say "yes Parallels is usable for 3d gaming"
greetings from Scotland by the way!

I think the main thing that everyone that uses Parallels wants to know is what type of performance can we expect from the games running Directx? and what version of Directx is it running? Its all very well saying it runs games but theres a HUGE difference between something running and something being playable!

Well, you are asking some important questions that I hope I'll get some clarification about as we move forward here towards their final edition.

Peace,
Gene

Well, perhaps when Fusion is further along. Parallels is supposedly a very late version, which is why it is an RC. When Fusion gets to the point of being in comparable shape, I'll look at it closely.

Peace,
Gene

I would love to see a show down between VM Ware's Fusion (currently in beta) and Parallels Desktop. I have used both and think and article like that would be a very good read.
